Entry Requirements and Submission Guidlines
1 All submissions must be sent to email@bardandmuse.co.uk. Please include your name and contact details in the body of the email.
2 Postal entries are accepted at Bard and Muse; Old Hall; 54 Whittingham Lane; Broughton; Lancs; PR3 5DB
3 The Winning Entry to either competition will receive £1,000 with ten runner’s up receiving £100. The winner of “aMusements” wins £100 each month. The best pub poetry wins £150
4Voices of War is free to enter. The Judges are still to be confirmed.
5. Voices of War is for anybody who has a ‘voice’ about modern warfare, not just those directly or indirectly affected by it.
7. All short story entries must be original, unpublished prose of 3,000 words or fewer. All poems must be no more than 50 lines.
8. Short Story Prize entries should not be extracts from longer works but stand alone pieces of writing.
The closing date for entries is 25 September 2012.

Does this mean poetry must also be previously unpublished, or just prose?
